SMART Recovery is a nationwide, nonprofit organization which offers free support groups to individuals who desire to gain independence from any type of addictive behavior. This support group will meet on Monday nights, it is for adults and it is sponsored by The Seed Theatre.
This support group is hosted by Nick Deslattes, a friend of the Seed and an ally of the community.
Nick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trained SMART Recovery facilitator. He believes that people who struggle with addiction or other challenging behaviors have the capacity to realize their full potential. He recognizes the power of safe spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals seeking recovery from alcohol/drug use, eating problems, and other behaviors that can cause them concern. As an ally to this community, he hopes to help others to discover the power of choice. If you have any questions, donโ€™t hesitate to email him at smart-chatt@pm.me
